The Team

Ross Weber

Co-Founder & CEO

From 2005–2008, Ross ran business development and monetization strategies at VirtualTourist.com and OneTime.com where he built the “compare to” technology and syndication platform. When VirtualTourist and OneTime were acquired by TripAdvisor in 2008, Ross left to join Kayak.com where he was GM of TravelSearch and Kayak’s hotel review site, TravelPost.com. TravelPost was sold to former Expedia executives in 2010.

After Kayak, Ross joined the team at DealBase.com where the HotelTonight last minute booking app was conceived and built. Ross assumed the CEO role at DealBase Corp and brought the business into profitability with over 1.5 million monthly visits. Concurrently, Ross co-founded Clicktripz, LLC to build the most effective conversion tools for travel content and booking sites.

Mark Mamber

Chief Revenue Officer

Mark has worked in travel media and technology for 20 years. Mamber was an early employee at user-generated content pioneer VirtualTourist.com. As VP of Advertising Sales, he was instrumental in building the business by hiring, training, and leading the advertising sales and operations teams. When TripAdvisor acquired VirtualTourist in 2008, Mark was promoted to help build and run TripAdvisor’s National DMO Sales Team. Mark has served Clicktripz as Chief Revenue Officer since 2013.

Jeremy Murphy

COO & President

Jeremy co-founded TheSuitest, a hotel data-analytics platform that was acquired by Clicktripz in 2015.

Before jumping into the travel industry, Jeremy held a number of mission-critical roles at large financial institutions. Jeremy was an analyst at Goldman Sachs in the investment management division, oversaw risk for a fund of hedge funds, and worked in investment banking at Houlihan Lokey and Bank of America Securities. (The long hours inspired him to travel more.)

Jeremy holds an MBA from UCLA-Anderson where he graduated in the top 1% of his class and received the Fred Weston Award for Excellence in Finance. Jeremy also holds a Juris Doctorate from the UCLA School of Law, where he attended as a Dean’s Scholar, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from UCLA where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Fernando Munoz

Chief Technology Officer

Fernando has a long career as a technology manager, with strong experience in many industries ranging from startups to corporate. Quantifiable experience implementing strategies, programs, systems, products, and processes to boost resources and technology performance. Outstanding leader with a clear vision and skills to bridge the business case to a technical solution.

Fernando holds a degree in Information systems engineering from Chile, his country of origin.

Jamie Claudio

SVP, Marketing & Destination Strategy

Jamie Claudio has been in the travel and tourism industry for over a decade. She served as Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Discover Long Island, during which time she sat on the Board of Directors for the New York State Tourism Industry Association. In addition to her time in-house at a DMO, Jamie also has significant tourism agency experience working in public relations for Development Counsellors International and marketing for Madden Media, where she oversaw all East Coast client accounts. She lives on Long Island, New York with her husband and their four children: two daughters and two labradoodles.

Chad Shiver

VP, Destination Strategy

Chad is a seasoned professional with nearly two decades of experience in destination marketing. His career began at the Japan National Tourism Organization, where he spent seven years gaining invaluable insights into the inner workings of a DMO. Following this, Chad became a key player on Tripadvisor’s DMO team in EMEA, where he led partnerships with some of the largest destinations in the region. Chad holds a Masters’ Degree in Asian Politics from the University of London School of Oriental and African Studies, and when not helping destinations find marketing solutions, can usually be found planning his next trip (and the meals that come with it).

Brandy Weiss

VP, Destination Strategy

With over 15+ years of experience in media and technology, Brandy Weiss has a wealth of knowledge that spans traditional and digital media with both hotels and destinations. Brandy Weiss has been a driving force behind impactful campaigns, creative storytelling, and effective communication strategies. She joins the team from her role as Sr. Manager of Noram for Amadeus and many years spent in the Meetings + Events space. Her keen understanding of technology has allowed destinations to embrace new digital strategies, enhancing the overall visitor experience and elevating the destination’s profile on a global scale. Brandy comes with a passion for showcasing the unique allure of destinations and has spent her career crafting compelling narratives that bring places to life as well as traveling the globe. In her free time, Brandy can be spent capturing travel spots, hiking in the great outdoors and catching a bluebird day on her skis!

Sheri McLaughlin

VP, Destination Strategy

Sheri has two decades of expertise in media strategy and brand partnerships, with a focus spanning ten years within the travel and tourism industry. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with leading destination marketing organizations (DMOs), crafting strategic advertising and marketing partnerships during her tenures at Tripadvisor, Adara, and Orbitz. Beyond her extensive involvement in the travel industry, Sheri possesses a wealth of media experience, having partnered with Fortune 500 companies to deliver innovative and complex advertising solutions across various digital platforms, ad tech, and video streaming publishers. Notably, she has spearheaded media strategy development as a Strategy Director at ad agency OMD. A native of the East Coast, Sheri currently resides in Hermosa Beach, California, where she enjoys life with her son.

Travis Volk

SVP, Demand and Operations

Travis earned his degree in International Business from SDSU, where he discovered his passion for travel while studying abroad and helping manage a hostel in Chile. He started his career in marketing with Jack in the Box. Soon after, he joined their digital ad agency to help clients plan and buy digital media. Eventually, he moved into adtech sales at Conversant Media (acquired by Epsilon) and at Brightroll Video (acquired by Yahoo!), where he helped agencies and brands across all industries utilize new ad technology. Now with Clicktripz, he leverages his digital ad solutions background and his passion for travel to grow partnerships with the largest travel brands in the world.

Damien Retureau

Managing Director, International Markets

Damien brings over 25 years of experience in the online travel industry, having held key roles in several Online Travel Agencies (OTAs). Notably, he played a crucial role at Orbitz.com, leading European Distribution initiatives, and significantly contributed to the Hotel Contracting division in France at lastminute.com in his early career. In his role as Sales and Product Director at Kelkoo.com, a major price comparison site, Damien orchestrated a comprehensive overhaul of the Travel proposition across nine countries, enhancing offerings in Flights, Hotels, and Car Hire. Prior to joining Clicktripz, Damien served as Director of Distribution at HouseTrip.com, Europe’s largest vacation rental website. There, he established and developed the Distribution department, showcasing expertise in architecting distribution frameworks, devising strategic setups, and leading global business development efforts. With a proven track record in driving innovation and growth, Damien brings a valuable blend of leadership, strategic insight, and industry experience to Clicktripz, drawing from diverse experiences across various segments of the online travel sector.
